Officially Old!
October 6, 2013 marked the day I realized that I am no longer a young mother....or at least I don't feel like it. I am now, officially, the mother of a thirteen year old daughter. Peanut is no longer my "little" Peanut. She is now only five years from being a high school graduate, only three years away from having her permit to drive! Although I look forward to watching her grow and mature even more, it also brings about a sense of fear and anxiety. She is growing into such a beautiful, intelligent young lady and I know that now the years are going to fly by even faster. I have to hold on even tighter to the old memories and be ready to embrace the new ones to come. *sigh* My baby.........
