Today, this rang so true, so I decided to post it. I think I'll post more of these in the blogposts to come.

-Brittany wanted a car, and she got a car. She wanted to go to an expensive college. She wanted her own apartment, and Daddy came through with the money. She wanted nice clothes, a stereo, a microwave, a television. There was no end to her wants. Nothing satisfied her. No matter how much she was given, she wanted more.-
We need to be careful that we don't approach God that way. God wants us to truly appreciate what we have before we go asking for more. He gives good things to His children, and He is willing to give abundantly, but He desires us to learn the real meaning of thankfulness.
Prayer:
Dear God.
Make me appreciative of all the wonderful gifts you give. When I take things for granted, show me the error of my ways. Fill my mind and heart with gratitude for the many blessings I have.
Amen.
