Happy New Year!

Well 2006 is finally here. Another year. To get it right. To get it together. To get it!
So what's your resolution?
Me? I'm just trying to make sure I do for myself this year. I know that might sound a bit selfish so let me elaborate. I want/need to go to school to better myself as a mother/wife/person. I've wanted to be a cosmetologist ever since 10th grade...enrolled in school but never went. So this year, I HAVE TO GET IT DONE!
Oh did I mention it's been three months NICOTINE FREE?!?!

Yes, no cigarettes for me. It's not as hard as I thought it would be. At all.
The kids are doing good. Eboni is working on her potty training. Emani's still Emani..busy but taking care of her sister. She made me so proud the other day. I was feeling like sh!t and could barely make it off the couch. She bought Eboni downstairs and made the two of them bowls of cereal (without me even having to ask or anything). Didn't even spill milk! I damn near cried. It made me feel good to know that she's responsible at such a young age already. She loves Eboni to death and looks after her like she's the mommy. It's cute.....to a point.
New Year's Eve, me and the husband spent the day in the house with the kids. As easy as it could've been to drop them off at a sitter and we could've gone to party, we decided to stay at home. And I'm glad we did. We all had fun. I loved it.
So with all of that said, I hope 2006 is as prosperous for you as I plan for it to be for me!
